ABOUT ME – THE HOST
Hi, I’m Cheryl Russell and I am the Owner of Mulberry House. I have lived and worked in Rutherglen for 30 years. I love the outdoors and everything the town of Rutherglen has to offer! I am a keen road bike rider, but gravel riding is my favourite thing to do on the weekends with friends. It doesn’t get much better than riding on the Rail Trails, riding around the Murray River and calling into wineries (many of which are easy to access on the Rail Trails. The Rail Trail has 45 kms of safe riding. At the end of the ride there are some great Coffee Shops and Cafes and eateries with quality food.
Rutherglen is a great regional location, within riding access of picturesque towns such as Beechworth and Yackandandah. Bright is a bit further away, but has a fabulous Mountain Riding Park. I also enjoy eating out at local wineries and listening to live music in Rutherglen and surrounds.
